Animate historical map

I'm working on an episode called "historical anatomy of the Russians" for which I need help - animating maps when discussing geographical locations in the video. This is all done to make the episode more interesting to watch, so that the visuals also tell a story and not just the audio.
Animation is needed in such moments of the script as the Russian land [in a narrow sense] included Kyiv, Chernihiv, Pereyaslavl, Novgorod the Great was not part of the Russian land, with its related cities, the principalities of Polotsk, Smolensk, Suzdal (Vladimir), Ryazan, Murom, Galich, Vladimir-Volynsky, Ovruch, Nerin, Berlad.
We are interested in two geographical regions - Zalesye and Novgorod land. Zalesye was located - beyond the difficult-to-pass forests after the Chernihiv land, where the Moskva River flows.
From the chronicle, the indigenous population in Novgorod were Slavs, in Rostov - Merians, in Beloozero - Vesy, in Murom - Muromians. As for other peoples paying tribute to Rus: Chuds, Merians, Vesy, Muromians, Chermis, Mordva, Permians, Pechora - they speak their own languages. Vesy sit in Beloozero, Merians on Lake Rostov, and also Merians on Lake Kleshchin. And along the Oka River - where it flows into the Volga - Muromians speak their own language, as well as Chermis and Mordva.
After the fall of Rus, the Novgorodians maintain their independence, precisely because they have been independent from Kyiv for 100 years. In Zalesye, a state called the Ulus of Jochi emerges.
The Moscow Ulus becomes rich from collecting tribute in honor of the Khan - over time, it conquers and subjugates everything around it - the Smolensk Principality, the Novgorod Republic, the Pskov Principality, the Astrakhan Khanate, the Kazan Khanate. Trading fur with the West - the Muscovites, armed with Western weapons and European diseases, conquer all the way to Alaska, wiping out entire peoples along the way - Chukchi, Daur, Koryak, Kamchadals, Nanai, Adygei.
I want a person who would understand me from half a word. That is, understood the goal and how to achieve it independently, without a second-by-second brief, because there is no time for that. Also, searching for materials or research - where are the borders of the Kyiv land and the Chernihiv land? how to depict them, what color, what style, etc., to match the goal. Yes, this is more work, but I am happy to pay for it, I see it as an investment in the channel's development.

Так це більше роботи але я залюбки її оплачу, вбачаю це як інвесицію у розвиток каналу.
