100 USD Problem with data submission in CMS (Wix Velo)
I developed a custom booking form on Wix Studio using Wix Velo (JavaScript). After selecting the date/time, calculating the price, and paying through Stripe (test mode) — all data is correctly stored in logs, including the schedule field (in the format Jun 19, 2025, 08:30 AM, string type).
❗ Problem: although the schedule data is visible in logs (and displayed on the frontend), this field is not stored in the CMS (Orders collection). All other fields are successfully saved. The schedule field in CMS has a text type.
Stack:
Wix Velo (frontend + backend)
Custom form (Wix Forms V2)
Stripe Checkout
Data is stored in the Orders collection
saveOrder() function (JSW backend) receives data and performs wixData.insert
Payment is successful (Stripe sandbox activated), testing can be done with fake data.
Requirements:
Investigate why schedule is not stored in Orders
Fix the error (possibly the issue is with the field type or data format)
Ensure that the schedule field is stored in CMS along with other fields
Additionally, implement:
Sending email to the client with booking details
Sending email to the administrator with full order data
Using Wix Triggered Emails
