Projects Experience
Project Name
Ventelo.

Role: QA Engineer.
Description:
My first project where I was responsible for testing part of the system, that was developed to perform the audit of the telecommunication hardware and software tools of the Norwegian Ventelo company. I created a number of the test cases and used those for testing my part of the system. The project was completely managed by the specialists from the customer side and I had to communicate with them every day to inform them with the progress and innovations made during testing. Project lasted for 6 months. The testing team consisted of 8 QA engineers.

Project Name
Telus

Role: QA Engineer.
Description:
This was an integration of the newer version of the NetCracker product for the Canadian Telus company that already had been using the previous version of this software. Project lasted for 1 year. Team contained from 4 to 20 test engineers on different stages of development.
Technologies and tools: SQL, NetCracker Project Tracking System, XML stubs, QTP 9.3 (I’ve used it to improve my testing abilities by scripting the widely used actions, it was not the task from my leader but my own initiative)

NetCracker framework development

Role: QA Engineer, QA Stream Leader
Description: This was a project for an integration of the third side software into the NetCracker product. Graphical Configuration tool was integrated with NetCracker. It allowed using the GIS systems to plan the telecommunication networks development and then transmit it into the NetCracker product to be represented as structured tabled text information. I was in charge of 2 QA Engineers during this project. The project was developed according to the parallel cascade model.

Project Name
Game Launcher for the MSN partner

Role: QA Engineer.
Description: I had to test a launcher for games on the MSN partner site. The launcher had to send the correct information to our servers, user information had to be encrypted. I used sniffer to catch the requests to the server and its replies and to see if those contain the valid information.
Technologies and tools: Jira Issue Tracking System, Fiddler.

Project Name
Site rollout for the Orange FR, TNT, MSN partner sites

Role: QA Engineer
Description: This was a new version of Oberon Media content that had to be deployed on the web sites of the strategic partners, such as Orange, TNT, MSN. The content consisted of the pages with different games categories, web applications that allowed playing these games in the web browser, registration system, billing systems.
Technologies and tools: Jira Issue Tracking System, Fiddler, Oracle, IIS Server, XML stubs and configuration files.
