(http://www.scoros.com) is looking for Senior Web Software Developer for OwnerIQ company projects (http://www.owneriq.net). OwnerIQ operates a network of channel-focused websites to help consumers easily find and store must have self-support product information. Founded in August 2006, OwnerIQ is based in Boston and is led by a proven management team of online media professionals. We are seeking a strong and energetic JavaScript/AJAX/HTML Web Developer with at least two years of work experience in a web development/web design position. Primary responsibilities include site "front end" programming, debugging, problem analysis, fluent communications with OwnerIQ USA team. Some R&D. Required Skills: - Javascript - Candidate needs a thorough understanding of client side javascript technologies. Previous experience with some of the newer core libraries, e.g. Prototype, JQuery, etc. and effects libraries, e.g. Scriptaculous, Mootools, etc. is a must. - AJAX - Another absolute requirement. Candidate should understand the differences between classic AJAX (with XML), AJAX using JSON, and just remote HTML. Good understanding of the XmlRpcRequest secutiry models in each of the common browsers (IE 6 and 7, Firefox 2, and Safari). - HTML/CSS - Ability to take graphic mockups and code pixel perfect templates/html with necessary stylesheets. - XUL/Mozilla plugin development - We currently have one data management tool that operates as a Firefox plugin. Web/UI developer will take immediate ownership of that for both maintenance and future enhancements. - Flash/Actionscript - Experience in this field is not required at this point but is surely welcome. - Unix/Linux environment - Candidate should be comfortable working in Unix/Linux command line with Shell scripts. - Team communications - Fluent English.
