I'm a small Agency owner in Estonia. I started doing marketing myself but got too many IT/webdev projects. Since then I've learned some coding and I'm here to find good programmers to build a proper team. I see that in order for projects to work, we need to have separate people who do back end and who do front end, basic stuff.
I respect people who deliver on their promises and ask for more time if they see beforehand that the project can't be finished in time.
Working with me I'd set a 15 minute time in a day to go over the progress so far, hear out the problems we're facing and plan together how to tackle them. Basically I'd be the project manager.
I believe that I don't need to track your work hours but instead I'm looking for the tasks being completed in the timeframe we agreed to. If someone wants me to track their time and believes that this makes them more efficient worker It's also fine by me. I'm flexible in that way.
For version control we use GitLab. Team communications: Slack.
As the team grows I'm looking into JIRA, Confluence and other team management services to make the work of our team easier.
