The application of my professional knowledge and experience on an import (buyer) manager position as remote job or freelancer 

 

Experience:

2016 – Present time – freelancer, purchasing manager, represent amazon’s sellers

Identify business opportunities for Amazon USA;

Preparation of buying plans and monitoring their implementation;

Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed;

Interview supplier’s plants to examine and learn about products, services, and prices;

Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable price;

Negotiate contracts on behalf of their organization;

Work out policies with suppliers and forwarders, such as when products will be delivered;

Arrange the shipping of goods into the country and payment for goods;

Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers, who make freight and space booking with shipping companies and arrange for the movement of cargo from ports;

Ensure product intellectual property (private labeling, design or patents); 

Interview staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or service with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine need for changes;

Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories

•        Identify local and overseas business opportunities;

•        Preparation of buying plans and monitoring their implementation;

•        Investigate and assess local demand for goods produced overseas;

•        Liaise  with local and overseas suppliers and distributors about orders and products;

•        Research regulatory and statutory requirements affecting the importing and distribution of goods;

•        Monitor business performance and preparing estimates, financial statements and reports of operations;

•        Discuss orders and arranging for the production of goods with suppliers and agents;

•        Arrange the shipping of goods into the country and payment for goods;

•        Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers, who make freight and space booking with shipping companies and arrange for the movement of cargo from ports;

•        Implement after-sales service procedures;
