Full Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Integrate with third-party systems (HTTP, gRPC, queues, webhooks).

• Model databases, optimize queries, and manage migrations.

• Write unit/integration tests and maintain healthy coverage.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and effort estimation.

• Containerize and deploy services (Docker, Kubernetes optional), set up CI/CD.

• Set up monitoring and observability (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/Sentry).

• Maintain legacy code, refactor, and improve performance.

Requirements

• Strong Python 3.x and standard library knowledge.

• Experience with one or more frameworks: FastAPI, Django/Django REST, Flask.

• Solid SQL and relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL); ORM (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM).

• Async programming (asyncio, aiohttp/FastAPI); understanding of concurrency.

• Containers (Docker), version control (Git).

• Testing (pytest), typing (mypy/pyright, pydantic).

• Fundamentals of networks, HTTP, and messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka/Redis).

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Caching (Redis/Memcached), background jobs (Celery/RQ/Arq).

• Data tooling (Pandas, Airflow) or ML integrations.

• Security best practices (OWASP, secrets management, IAM).

• Experience with high-load/distributed systems.

Soft Skills
