MOTION DESIGNER (Freelance)

WizArt Studios is growing, and we're looking for a motion designer who can do more than just make things move when told so.

We need someone who understands storytelling, timing, rhythm, and composition, and can turn static ideas into strong, production-ready motion.

This is a freelance position for now, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role!!

What you'll do:

• Create high-quality motion graphics based on briefs, references, and style guidelines.
• Animate brand elements and visual systems while maintaining consistency across scenes and formats.
• Work on:
  • Social-first animations (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, X)
  • Brand content
  • Campaign visuals
  • Product explainers
  • Experimental and scroll-stopping motion
• Handle projects from concept to final delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and creatives — both asynchronously and live.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and refine work to a high production standard.

We expect:

• A strong portfolio showcasing motion design work (commercial or experimental).
• Advanced proficiency in proper software for the job.
• Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation, weight, rhythm).
• Strong compositing skills, with clean scene building.
• Understanding of short-form pacing and attention retention.
• Ability to clearly explain your creative decisions and workflow.
• Self-discipline, responsibility, and reliability with deadlines.

It would be a plus:

• Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar 3D tools.
• Understanding of social-first formats and platform behavior.
• Experience integrating AI-generated assets into motion workflows (big plus).
• Basic sound design skills.
