Technical Project Manager CTO/Tech lead

Job Description: 

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate CTO/Tech lead with a solid background in the blockchain industry. Who will drive the development of the Bictory Finance suite of financial products while aligning our vision of developing a genuinely compliant DeFi ecosystem. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker, a pragmatic leader, an effective communicator, and above all, an expert in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology development. 

You will work closely with the Founders of the project, and act both as a technology and business expert while making decisions that will impact the project’s current and future technological landscape. 

The Expected Impact: 

•  Set the technological vision in alignment with our mission and ideas. 

•  Lead and conduct code review sessions to ensure high-quality software

•  Develop and present architecture, design, and technology choices to internal stakeholders

•  Ensure that technological resources meet the project's short and long-term needs.

•  Define the goals for research and development to keep us one step ahead.

•  Build bridges and networks within the Blockchain community, including notable influencers in the DeFi space.

•  Lead in all stages of software development, including planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and release

•  Ensures all critical technical decisions and tradeoffs are well documented

•  Make executive decisions on behalf of the project's technological requirements.

•  Act as a mentor to the technical team.

•  Determine the best resource matrix, including internal and external resources.

•  Keep users front and center in the design and implementation of solutions. 

•  Stay on top of blockchain knowledge, trends, and developments.

•  Ensure our technology is highly secure and meets the highest standards.

•  Lead recruitment efforts in the growth and development of the engineering team

What you will bring: 

•  3+ years of working in blockchain and cryptocurrency (DeFi experience a heavy plus)

•  4+ years of management experience

•  An understanding of RUST, NodeJs, ReactJs, MongoDB, SQL-DB, AWS a considerable PLUS

•  Advanced technological skills and a demonstrated history with technology 

•  Masters degree in Computer science or related field 

•  Programming skills/literacy (preferred) 

•  Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future of DeFi

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•  Exceptional leadership ability 

•  Ability to mentor developers and delegate tasks appropriately based on the team’s skillset

•  Agile Management tools (Git, Atlassian, Jira)

This position is full-time and 100% remote
