We are a Fast Growing Technology Company providing trading solutions to a number of the UK’s top online gaming companies while delivering market leading sportsbook development including automated, algorithmic sports betting trading solutions.

The role will include:

·Proposing and implementing technical solutions by developing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.

·Defining technical objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

·Designing and developing features and managing their implementation through the development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.

·Integrating applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.

·Completing development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

·Supporting customers (internal and external) by developing documentation and assistance tools.

·Updating job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

·Enhancing the company’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Essential Requirements:

·3+ years Java experience

·Multi-threaded programming

·Spring framework

·Hibernate

·XML processing

·Proficient in Java debugging

·Strong SQL.

Desirable Requirements:

·Jstack, jmap

·JMX

·Strong Unix scripting experience

·Unix system monitoring skills, for example CPU, memory, I/O, network

·JMS

·Multi-stack

·Knowledge of sports betting and trading systems

·Working in agile/scrum environment

·Experience of working with Jira/Confluence/Test Rail.
