🎯 Project Goal

The project involves not replacing, but expanding the existing book
“Wheel of the Queen” — while preserving its style, structure, colors, and ornaments.

The freelancer's task is to
based on the already completed design of the “Wheel of the Queen”:

• supplement and adapt the layout for the new book
  “A Year for Yourself. 12 Months of Support, Self-Care, and Inspiration”;

• add new texts, parables, calendars, questions, and final sections;

• prepare a print-ready and online sales-ready file.

🪶 Structure of the Book

The book consists of the following main parts:

1. Cover

   • Title: “A Year for Yourself. 12 Months of Support, Self-Care, and Inspiration”

   • Author: Iryna Kyslytska

   • Style — in the spirit of “Wheel of the Queen”: feminine, light, emphasis on the symbols of the circle, path, and feminine wholeness.

2. Foreword

   • The text is provided by the author (updated version).

   • Design: calm readable font, enough “air,” highlighting important phrases.

3. 12 chapters-months (January–December)

   For each month, the structure should be the same, in the following logic (texts are provided):

   • Month title (for example: “JANUARY — The Woman Standing in Power”)

   • Archetype of the month

   • Energy of the month

   • Meditation

   • Practice (sand, art-therapeutic, body, etc.)

   • Cards of the month (1–3 positions)

   • Symbol / Anchor of the month

   • Deep questions

   • Phrase of the month (highlighted in italics or another font)

   • Parable of the month

   • Monthly mood calendar (table with dates)

   • Block “Summary of the Month / Reflection” (questions + space for notes)

   • 🔹 Important:

   • Illustrations, frames, ornaments, and overall style to be transferred from the existing book “Wheel of the Queen.”

   • New texts to be inserted into the already existing stylistics.

4. Final Sections

   • Meditation “Circle of Your Wholeness” (text + QR code).

   • Conclusion / Final Thoughts (updated text for “A Year for Yourself”).

   • Thank you to the reader.

   • Questionnaire for women (questions provided by the author).

   • Block “Contacts” of the author (email, Instagram, Telegram).

   • Space for QR code for audio meditation (in Ukrainian; later — in French).

💡 Main Tasks for the Freelancer

1. Preserve the visual style of the “Wheel of the Queen”

   • Do not change the overall aesthetics: background, ornaments, indents, colors.

   • Leave existing decorative elements (frames, lines, icons).

2. Supplement the layout with new text

   • Insert the author's texts “A Year for Yourself” in the appropriate places.

   • Ensure a consistent style for headings, subheadings, and main text.

   • Do not shorten texts without agreement with the author.

3. Update all mentions of the old title

   • If the title “Wheel of the Queen” appears in the layout — replace it with “A Year for Yourself” (where logical).

   • Check the Foreword, Conclusion, Thank You, Questionnaire — bring to a unified concept.

4. Calendars

   • For each month, create/update a calendar for the corresponding number of days:

     • 31 days, 30 days, 28 days — depending on the month.

   • Preserve space for mood markers and colors (as in the examples provided by the author).

5. Meditation and QR codes

   • Add a page (or block) with meditation.

   • Provide space for a QR code (the file with the code will be provided by the author or added later).

   • Caption for the QR code: a short instruction that this is audio for listening.

6. Style Alignment

   • Check that all sections are in a unified logic:
     fonts, sizes, intervals, numbering, list marking.

   • Align headings (one style for months, one for subheadings, etc.).

🎨 Design Requirements

• Page format: A4 (210×297 mm), vertical orientation.

• Margins: at least 1.5 cm on all sides.

• Resolution: 300 dpi (print-ready).

• Color scheme:

  • calm warm shades — sandy, creamy, lavender, golden-beige;

  • avoid sharp contrasts.

• Fonts:

  • Main text — simple, readable (for example, Montserrat / Lora / Alegreya / similar).

  • For headings — a more decorative but not overloaded font can be used.

  • For “Phrase of the Month” — a handwritten font can be applied (but readable).

• Graphics:

  • Use existing illustrations and ornaments from “Wheel of the Queen.”

  • Do not add new illustrations without agreement.

  • Light enhancement of accents (lines, icons) in the same style is allowed.

📦 Output Files

The freelancer delivers:

1. PDF file for printing

   • CMYK, 300 dpi, with crop marks (if necessary).

2. PDF file for online reading

   • RGB, optimized size.

3. Editable source file

   • in DOCX or InDesign (INDD) format — so the author can make minor edits if needed.

4. Cover as a separate file

   • spread: front + back + spine (according to printing standards).

📅 Deadline

5–7 days
from the moment of receiving all final texts and materials from the author.

After the first version — 1–2 rounds of minor edits (text placement, accents, minor visual adjustments).
