The Freelance UC Web Proposal

Project: Alibaba Mobile Group, UC Web Inc., UC Browser

Needs: Frequent updates of a news feed located inside the mobile application (UC Browser for Android, Russian version); daily preparation of news push notification (chose shall be based on users' interests).

Since its inception in 2004, UCWeb's mission has been to provide better mobile internet experience to billions of users around the world. Its international product portfolio includes a mobile browsing service (UC Browser), app and game distribution platforms (9Apps and 9Game), a mobile traffic platform (UC Union) among others. UC Browser, the flagship product of UCWeb, is available on more than 3,000 different models of cell phones from over 200 cell phone manufacturers.

Credibility/Experience:

- Currently living in Russia or Guangzhou (China);

- Humanitarian degree (Languages or communications);

- Fluent in both oral and written Russian (Native speaker or Russian as the second language for citizens of Ukraine and Belarus);

- Experience in journalism/public relations; English skills (no less than intermediate);

- Willing to work with the flexible schedule (weekends, evening shifts).

- Android smartphone, stable Internet connection (instant reply in the company's chat during the working hours is mandatory).

Proposal:

- Providing frequent updates of a news feed located inside the mobile browser (UC Browser);

- Fact checking, headlines editing;

- Managing the daily content based on user's interest to increase their activity.
