Good day! Unfortunately, this is an Elementor issue. No matter what you do, there will still be lags.
Optimizing the database won't help much. Maybe slightly improve performance, optimize images, caching, and deferred loading of unnecessary scripts, but Elementor itself generates very messy code.

In general, I always suggest building a website with clean code, smart loading of styles and scripts, my works load in no more than 2 seconds.
