We are looking for a layout designer to create a textbook (paper + PDF version)
An experienced layout designer is needed to work on an educational textbook.
📌 Task:
Layout of the educational textbook (approximately 150 pages);
Working with text, tables, images, diagrams;
Preparation of materials for printing (PDF for the printer) and electronic version.
✅ Test task:
To assess the professional level, a test layout of 2 pages must be completed (we will provide a sample text and a general design template).
💼 Candidate requirements:
Experience in layout of books, textbooks, or magazines;
Proficiency in programs: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator (or equivalents);
Ability to work with styles, templates, columns, tables, numbering;
Understanding of typography, structure of educational materials;
Attention to detail, adherence to a consistent style;
Ability to prepare a file for printing (CMYK, trimming, PDF quality control);
Preferred: experience working with publishing houses or educational projects.
