Unfortunately, none of the 20 different logo options proposed suited the client (even though they all met the specifications). Only the 6th of the seven subsequent options interested the client.

This is a fairly typical situation. Even mood boards and briefs do not solve this problem for the client—they can only provide grounds for the performer to claim that the work is done, despite the fact that the result does not satisfy the client.

Sometimes, preliminary selection of references and discussion of ideas helps. But from experience, the idea and its implementation are different things. And when working from examples, you must understand that the result will differ significantly because you will have to change a lot.

Then a series of quite lengthy work was required to create options—selecting colors, thickness of the key symbol, and developing icons for each position.
