Честно, если железо не сильно отличается (та таде если и есть отличия, но не нужно обновлять ОС с 2008 на более свежую), то я бы попробовал сделал клон диска. При появлении синего экрана, я бы попробовал драйвера подсунуть через Acronis Universal Restore. Если этот вариант не получился, тогда бы уже настраивал сервер и совершал перенос.
