Photo demonstration from the National Library of Norway forms an exhibition that tells about the history of the Norwegian jazz
Music from 1930 to 1990 with stories, photographs and other archive materials. This exhibition gives you a unique look into the depths of the history of the Norwegian jazz.
We were inspired by interesting motives from the exhibition, and played the mythical coverings of the albums in the spirit of the 50s and 60s.
This led to a simple color palette of black, white and red, rational printing and grid, which emphasizes the rhythm and freedom of improvisation in the jazz.
