Animation Logo
Recently found an ad on freelance, the author asks to animate his pizzeria logo according to his own script.
I read the script and it immediately became funny from periodic phrases like "the whale's tail continues to spin".
But it became interesting to see what would come out, so:
- using Photoshop I cut out the logos and cleaned them of the background.
- using Inkscape I converted the logos from raster graphics to vector graphics.
- using After Effects I performed the animation according to the author's script.
A brief description of the script:
1) The background is sky blue. A whale floats from the upper left corner of the screen and descends to the center. The whale's tail spins all the time without stopping.
2) After the whale stops, an inscription appears around it.
3) A cloud floats from the upper right, in which lightning appears. It stops in the center of the screen. The lightning is accompanied by the sound of thunder.
4) After the cloud stops, an inscription appears in its center.
5) After the inscription appears, three times during the appearance of lightning, the background changes from sky blue to orange (the author even indicated the shade), and back. This happens to the sounds of thunder. After which the background remains orange.
6) Then for 2 seconds it remains the same
7) Squares of different colors and shades roll out from the upper left corner, there should be 28 of them. They evenly fill the screen so that it is 4 squares wide and 7 squares high.
Since the author did not specify the dimensions of the final video, initially 1024*1024 was taken, but in the finale of the script, the customer wants multi-colored squares to roll out from the upper left corner and evenly fill the screen, so in order not to redo the video (after all, this was done solely for fun, not on order), the screen size was changed to 1024*1400.
