Apartment & Office Renovation Site (WordPress/Elementor)
A multi-page corporate website custom-developed for the construction and renovation company “Faktura.” This project covers all stages of modern web development—from initial UI/UX prototyping in Figma to writing custom code within the framework of a WordPress child theme.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- UI/UX Design: Developed the page hierarchy, analyzed user flows, and created consistent, responsive visual interfaces for desktop and mobile devices in Figma.
- WordPress Development: Created a basic layout using Elementor, then implemented extensive custom logic integration via a custom WordPress child theme. This approach allowed for the implementation of custom code without unnecessarily increasing the site’s size.
- Interactive Cost Calculator: Designed and programmed a responsive cost calculator for home renovation services (electrical work, tile installation, finishing work) using standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Service Price Tables: Custom service price tables have been created using clean HTML and CSS, completely eliminating the need for bulky price table plugins to ensure optimal page performance.
- Modal pop-ups: Functional modal pop-ups have been integrated to quickly process service requests and call-back forms.
- Caching, Speed, and Security: Static local caching has been configured, resources have been minimized, and fonts are loaded from the local server to maximize Google PageSpeed scores; core security settings have also been configured.
- Database and Deployment: Migrated the entire configuration from the local development server (Local WP) to the production environment, including setting up the MySQL database.
TECH STACK:
- Figma (protyping, responsive UI/UX design)
- WordPress (Elementor & customized child theme)
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6)
- Hosting, MySQL
This project was developed to demonstrate how combining visual builders (Elementor) with custom programming techniques (child themes, custom JavaScript) enables the creation of fast websites with rich interactive features.
Live project link is in the "Work details" section (or follow the link here: https://factura.great-site.net).
