- Integrating third-party services using API keys, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Configuring rate limiting, protection against DDoS attacks, and prevention of brute force attacks on APIs.
- Implementing monitoring and logging for all API requests using the ELK stack or Prometheus.
- Ensuring security during interactions with external services and databases.
