Individual development of a tattoo sketch with custom lettering, jewelry detailing, and adaptation to the actual placement on the body.
In this project, the main goal was to create not just a text for the tattoo, but a cohesive visual idea: a phrase formed like a delicate rose-gold chain, with a sense of fragile jewelry, a lively handwriting, small links, shadows, and a soft shine of metal. An additional red layer of text serves as a hidden meaning beneath the main phrase — not a separate ornament, but part of the concept that reveals itself upon closer inspection.
The sketch was designed in two formats: as a clean composition on a white background and as a mockup on the wrist, to immediately see how the future tattoo would look on the skin. It was important to maintain the readability of the phrase, the delicacy of the lines, the jewelry character of the chain, the scale, the curvature of the wrist, and the feeling that the design is not just applied to the body, but naturally exists on it.
I work with tattoo sketches as personal visual objects: through meaning, form, material, symbolism, placement on the body, and future perception. My task is to transform the client's idea into a finished image that has character, history, and an exact visual language.
