Backend for network of car charging stations

Over the course of a year working on this project as an outsourced employee, I fixed several thousand different vulnerabilities in a very old system. Together with three other developers, we successfully transitioned from PHP5 to PHP8 and significantly improved security to an absolutely incredible level. The complexity also stemmed from the fact that the backend was completely custom-built, so there was a lot of work involved.
