Project: Art Book / Book "Four Seasons"
This work demonstrates storytelling skills through visuals and the ability to work with spreads.
I used a special color palette to convey the mood of each season. Cold blue and purple shades of winter contrast with the juicy green of spring and the golden ochre of autumn.
Illustration Style: The work is done in a soft painting style. The character (embodiment of the seasons) is integrated into the landscape, creating a cohesive composition on each spread.
Layout and Typography: The use of accent colors in the title ("FOUR SEASONS") that correspond to the colors of the seasons - a technique for visual connection between text and image.
The text is placed considering the composition of the illustrations, not overlapping key details of the characters.
Technical Execution: Work in Adobe Illustrator with hand-drawn illustrations.
