Bookcover for "Tango of death" from Urii Vynnychuk

The entire book cover was designed in Canva. The novel is set in Lviv during the Holocaust. To capture the spirit of the story, I created a strong symbolic contrast:
Cold gray silhouettes of Lviv’s architecture evoke a feeling of emotional distance. The dancing couple’s legs are bound by chains, symbolizing captivity and oppression. Below them are faint silhouettes of other prisoners and guards. The figures wear prison caps whose tops subtly resemble halos.
The background is a warm, intense yellow-orange, close to amber — representing the feverish jazz and cabaret atmosphere that persisted outside the walls of the camps and ghettos. #book #books #cover #обкладинка #обкладинки #поліграфія
