TG bot + Google Sheets for monitoring production manufacturing
A Google form + Google sheet has been created for submitting production orders. Employees in production mark the status of which product has been Manufactured and Issued. An additional script has been written that records the date and time of the status change to "Issued".
A Telegram bot + group has been created, which includes all managers/salespeople.
Automation has been created based on n8n, which checks the Google sheet for changed statuses "Issued" every 20 minutes, but with a check that a message has not yet been sent in Telegram.
If there are new issued products, messages are automatically sent to the group, and managers can see what is ready for shipment according to their requests, without needing to call anyone, write, or search in the Google sheet (access to the production Google sheet for managers is limited).
A loop for 5 messages and a 5-second delay in sending has been added to avoid being blocked by the Telegram API, ensuring all messages are delivered.
