Built an MVP AI Stylist for an Online Fashion Store

The client is one of my long-term customers from London. The idea for this project came to me around eight months ago, and recently we decided to turn it into a real product.
In just 14 days, I developed the initial MVP, including:
— a responsive frontend widget integrated into the store;
— backend logic for a professional AI stylist;
— a database with the store’s products;
— complete outfit generation using real catalogue items;
— an admin dashboard for managing the system.
The AI stylist understands the store’s product range and helps customers choose clothing for weddings, birthdays, business meetings, formal events, different weather conditions, and everyday wear.
It considers the occasion, preferred style, season, weather, fabrics, materials, colour combinations, customer preferences, and product availability.
Customers can ask questions about the brand, sizing, materials, styles, and product combinations. The system can then create a complete outfit using products currently available in the store.
The admin dashboard includes:
— a gallery of generated outfits;
— customer chat history;
— generation of new looks from store products;
— product database management;
— monitoring of AI-generated results.
This is only the initial MVP and will soon be launched on the client’s website. After launch, we will continue improving the recommendations and adding new features.
Due to the NDA, I cannot reveal the full concept, architecture, or functionality. However, the project already has strong potential to improve customer experience, increase engagement, support purchasing decisions, and help the store stand out from competitors.
This project is especially important to me because it started as my own idea and has now become a real product.
