Before danger, as a symbol of unity, the Zaporizhian Cossacks used the call "Bud'mo!" (A call for resilience and life). On the patch of the Armed Forces units, two main, strong Slavic symbols are used, namely the symbols of Perun: the Thunder Wheel - which is also the symbol of the shield and the whirlpool. The Slavs carved it on the eaves and beams of the house roofs as protection of the hearth from misfortune. And Perunica – a stylized lightning (arrow). At the bottom of the patch, a stylized sign of the Trident is placed. It is also the Falcon – a successful hunter for game.
