Development of an ironic and charismatic character (mascot) with the text "Confused but Happy" for a line of youth clothing, sticker packs, and accessories. The main idea of the project is to create a lively, emotional, and slightly comical image that resonates easily with the modern audience and brings a smile.
Design solution:
Character image: A detailed line drawing of an animal (badger) in round glasses with bright facial expressions. Crazy eyes and a sticking-out tongue perfectly convey the concept of being "confused but happy."
Composition: The character is placed within a proper hexagon with smooth corners, balancing the dynamic and chaotic emotion of the mascot itself, making the sign whole and complete.
Stylistics and color: Monochrome line style (Line Art / Vector Mascot) in deep dark blue color. The minimalist palette allows for easy adaptation of the logo to any background or fabric color.
Typography: An elongated, clear grotesque font is used, which nicely structures the composition and emphasizes the modern urban character of the print (streetwear vibe).
