Creation of icons

Set of SVG Icons for Aviation Catalog

Two sets of icons were developed for the aviation equipment catalog for the website — 20 icons in each style. The main task was to create a visually cohesive system of categories for airplanes, business jets, helicopters, and specialized aviation.

The icons are designed in the format of simple monochrome silhouettes without unnecessary details, making them easy to use in navigation, filters, category cards, and other interface elements. Two stylistic approaches were prepared: a top view with the nose of the airplane pointing up and a side/angled silhouette similar to examples from large aviation marketplaces.

All icons were created with technical requirements for the web in mind: using `fill="currentColor"`, no fixed `width` and `height`, a clean `viewBox`, optimized SVG files without unnecessary metadata. This allows for easy color changes of the icons through CSS and their use in various parts of the website without additional adaptation.

The set includes icons for the following categories: single piston, multi piston, turboprop, experimental, light sport, warbirds, various classes of business jets, helicopters, gliders, amphibians, agricultural aircraft, and airliner.

Result: the website received a complete visual system of 40 SVG icons that enhances the perception of the catalog, makes navigation clearer, and supports a unified brand style.
