Design of a landing page for a roofing materials company
Task:
Develop a modern, structured, and clear website design for a company that sells metal roofing tiles and profiled sheets. The main goal is to simplify the product selection, increase trust, and encourage the user to submit a request for a quote.
What was important:
clearly present the product range
emphasize prices and benefits
simplify the user's path to the application
create a sense of reliability and professionalism
adapt the design for a "rational" audience (people who are building or renovating)
What was done:
Developed the first screen (hero section) with a focus on the unique selling proposition and call-to-action buttons
Created a structured catalog:
metal roofing tiles
profiled sheets
standing seam roofing
accessory elements
Thought through product cards with prices and quick CTA ("get a quote")
Added a block:
"how we work" to increase trust
Implemented repeated CTA blocks throughout the page to increase conversion
Used a restrained color palette (blue, gray shades) associated with reliability
Selected realistic images of roofs to enhance trust
Worked out the scrolling logic and UX so that users can quickly find what they need.
Result:
Created a functional and commercially effective design that:
simplifies product selection
highlights the company's expertise
builds trust with the client
encourages the submission of a request for a quote
