Design of a tri-fold brochure
In this project, I focused on creating a dynamic visual hierarchy. The brochure for the climbing club required a balance between a large amount of text and majestic photos of mountains.
Typography: The use of grotesque fonts of varying weights allowed for clear emphasis on headings without overwhelming the layout.
Composition: The departure from standard frames in favor of circular masks and asymmetrical placement of photos adds a sense of space and freedom to the design — exactly the emotions that climbers seek.
Gradients: A subtle pastel fill on the central panel gently highlights the contact information without breaking the integrity of the layout.
