Development of an online flower shop
I developed a full-fledged online store for selling flowers and bouquets using the WordPress CMS. The main goal of the project was to create a convenient and visually appealing platform that simplifies the process of selecting and ordering flowers for customers, as well as providing effective inventory management for business owners.
Completed work and my role
My work included the full development cycle, from design to launch, namely:
Design and UX/UI: Creating a unique and modern design that highlights the aesthetics of flowers. Special attention was paid to the usability of the user interface (UI) and experience (UX) to make the purchasing process as pleasant and intuitive as possible.
Layout: I implemented responsive layout that ensures the correct display of the site on all devices: from desktops to smartphones.
Development on WordPress CMS: Using the WordPress CMS, supplemented by the WooCommerce plugin, allowed for the creation of powerful e-commerce functionality. I set up the product catalog, shopping cart system, checkout process, as well as various payment and delivery methods.
Product management: I implemented a system for easy addition, editing, and deletion of products, their categories, descriptions, and prices. This allows the store owner to independently manage the inventory.
SEO optimization: I conducted basic site optimization for search engines, which includes setting up meta tags, creating a sitemap, and optimizing images.
Technologies and tools used

Plugins: WooCommerce (as the main plugin for the online store), as well as other additional plugins to enhance functionality.
Languages and technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), JavaScript, PHP.
Design: Figma or Adobe Photoshop.

Results
Thanks to this project, the client received not just a website, but a ready business tool that helps sell. The site stands out with a pleasant design, high speed of operation, and a convenient interface, which is key for successful online flower sales.
