Documentary film "Silence in the Stands"

"Silence in the stands" is a documentary graduation film that tells the story of the fate of the Yuri Gagarin stadium in Chernihiv, where the local team Desna Chernihiv once played. It was a place where every match turned into a real holiday, where the stands were buzzing with emotions, and the fans — the same legendary "12th player" — charged the team with their unwavering support.

After the destruction of the arena due to Russian shelling in 2022, the city's football life came to a standstill. The author of the film goes to the scene of events to find out: is there a chance for the revival of the stadium, the team, and the football culture of Chernihiv?
