I was involved in the development of a thermostat widget, where I had to work closely with the MQTT protocol. The work included implementing a widget for monitoring the thermostat's temperatures, displaying the current temperature of the thermostat (collecting telemetry), changing the operating mode of the thermostat, creating schedules for the thermostat's operation, displaying temperature graphs with date filtering, and validating schedules on both the frontend and backend. React Vite and Nest.js were used here.
