The client came in April with a request to optimize the Google My Business (GMB) profile for a beauty salon located in Detroit, USA.
The salon recently opened, so there is a need to promote it.
The first thing the ROI-oriented digital marketing agency did was to record the current metrics in the GMB profile to measure the effectiveness of future changes.

- Selected a semantic core to improve profile visibility for key winter queries.
- Standard profile option settings.
- Added service categories that the business operates in.
- Added all services provided by the client, along with descriptions and prices.
- Rewrote and optimized the description based on the selected semantic core.
- Added photos of work.
- Added videos of work.
- Added photos of the office.
- Added products for sale, with descriptions and prices.
- Posted 10 posts about the company.
- Additionally, the client decided to hold an event with bloggers regarding the salon opening.
It can be seen that in May, the number of profile views increased 23 times, but this was not due to profile optimization, rather because of the event held by the business for its clients. Therefore, this month will not be indicative.
Analyzing June, from the 1st to the 17th, and forecasting statistics until the end of June, the data will be more indicative because the event took place, and the statistics for clicks and impressions decreased and stabilized.
Conclusion:
Profile views: increased from 515 to 3,413 views.
Actions on the profile: increased from 395 to 1,036 actions.
Overall, visibility growth increased more than 6 times, and actions on the profile grew by 2.6 times.
