Illustrated spread for the book "On the Island"

I created an illustrated book spread for the work of Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky "On the Island," in which the scene of the meeting and silent interaction between the characters is visually conveyed. The illustration complements the text and helps to convey the emotional mood of the episode - curiosity, tenderness, the tension of glances, and the atmosphere of a brief romantic story.
