Immersive Travel Video Editing & Color Grading. DJI Osmo 360

Creating an immersive visual experience for a travel channel

For this project, my task was to transform raw footage shot with a DJI Osmo 360 into a dynamic and visually appealing video for the YouTube channel “Journey with Hiker.”

What was done:

Working with 360° footage: I used DJI Studio for professional reframing and stabilization of panoramic content, which allowed me to create an “invisible camera” effect and smooth transitions between angles.

Advanced editing in Adobe Premiere Pro: Combined nature shots with dynamic inserts, ensuring a perfect rhythm to the musical accompaniment.

Color Grading: Performed extensive color grading in Premiere Pro. The goal was to highlight the forest’s natural hues, add depth to the shadows, and make the image “vibrant” while maintaining the journey’s realism.

Motion Graphics: Added graphic elements and text overlays that blend seamlessly into the surroundings (for example, the “Journey with Hiker” intro).

Result: The video conveys an atmosphere of tranquility and the grandeur of nature, inviting the viewer on a virtual walk along the Franklin Ghost Town trail.
