Stage 1: Data Preparation
• Analysis and formatting of the Google Sheet for import (column names, price format, stock, SKUs, images).
• Setting up macros/formulas for convenient data entry and validation (optional).
• Conducting a test import on a small set of products and fixing errors.
Stage 2: Integration with the Website
• Selecting and installing the necessary module/plugin for import (if not already installed) or configuring the existing module.
• Setting up field mapping between the Google Sheet and product fields on the website (name, price, description, category, specifications, images, availability, etc.).
• Configuring category recognition and connecting existing specifications/attributes.
Stage 3: Automation
• Setting up the automatic update mechanism (CRON/Task scheduler or built-in plugin mechanisms) with the chosen interval (hourly, daily, weekly, etc.).
• Setting up logging and error notification (email/telegram) and rollback mechanisms for incorrect data.
Stage 4: Testing and Optimization
• Full run of the import for the entire catalog in test mode and verification of results (prices, availability, compliance of categories and specifications).
• Optimizing import speed and minimizing load on the website.
Stage 5: Training and Handover
• Recording a short video tutorial (5–10 min) on working with the sheet and the import process.
• Providing a brief written instruction with examples of data formatting.
What is required from you:
