Age verification 18+ via Smart-ID on WIX website
Project: Integration of electronic user identification through Smart-ID with automatic age verification.
Task: Provide a secure and convenient mechanism for confirming 18+ age on a WIX-based website, with the ability to block order placement until verification is completed.
What has been done:
Connected Smart-ID via external backend (3rd integration option Velo + PHP).
Implemented two-step identity and age verification.
Blocked access to purchase until confirmation that the user is 18 years old.
Full localization (UA/EN), responsiveness for all devices.
Features:
Support for mobile and desktop browsers.
Real-time statuses (display of verification code, waiting for confirmation).
Ability to integrate with any form or payment module on WIX.
