Kickstarter project for the horror game.
The client ordered me to create three locations for the horror game they threw out on Kickstarter. The client gave me specific requirements for each image, including the environment, characters and the overall tone of the game. For the beginning I conducted the study of art styles and horror games to get inspiration and make sure my images will meet industry standards. As soon as I fully understood the genre of horrors, I created approximate sketches of each art (by 2 variants of sketches), experimenting with different compositions until I found a design that effectively transmitted the client’s vision. After completing the sketches I started working on final illustrations using Adobe Photoshop.I took into account customer reviews as well as my own art instincts to create visually impressive and stressful scenes. To make sure the final drawings meet the customer's expectations, I sent them to the customer to receive a feedback and, if necessary, make changes.I finally delivered the ready items to a customer who was satisfied with the quality and efficiency of the illustration to promote his horror game on Kickstarter. In general, the process of creating three artists required a combination of artistic skills, research, communication and attention to the details to effectively transmit the vision of the customer and help him his advertising goals. These tasks were performed a couple of years ago, now my speed and quality of work have been significantly improved.
