A ring diagram is a type of pie chart with a hole in the middle. It shows parts of a whole, but instead of a complete circle, it has an inner space that is often used for labeling, percentage, or key indicator. The title is chosen in such a way that it provides summary information about the data, rather than just naming them: chart, frequency, number of passengers, etc.
