Classical European architecture of the book

The project included the development of a comprehensive layout for the publication: cover design, colored endpapers, and the layout of the internal block.

The layout follows classical canons and principles of traditional book typography: classic margins, optimal line length, proportional leading. This grid is rarely used in commercial printing due to lower text capacity and higher paper costs, but it provides maximum reading comfort and meets the standards of the best editions of world classics.

The dark palette with a minimalist composition adds elegance to the publication and focuses attention on the content. Graphite endpapers with an authorial pattern complement the aesthetic integrity of the book.

As a result, the book is easy to read and does not cause eye strain, and the entire layout (from the cover to the last page) maintains a consistent flow :)
