Through spaces and souls
#banner for a charity concert in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Through spaces and souls".
The dark color scheme of the banner corresponds to the musical style of the concert: from gothic ballads to heavy metal with significant use of Ukrainian pagan folklore.
The key image of a young woman performing a mystical ritual with a candle and closed eyes indicates the name of the concert (Through spaces and souls), hinting that she is overcoming both physical and metaphysical space, guided solely by her inner feelings, perceiving what cannot be seen with the eyes, only with the soul. Something like music.
At the same time, the visual echoes the name of the most popular song of the concert headliner — "Witch's Eyes," which also aligns very well with the musical styles of the performers: gothic ballad and heavy metal.
The font of the title (Volya Regular), which resembles Scandinavian runes, also hints that all the musical bands incorporate pagan folklore into their creativity. At the same time, readability of the title is not as important as its style.
Placing the QR code on the poster was necessary so that casual visitors to the concert could easily make a charitable donation, which grants access to the concert. This slightly overloaded the composition but served an important function for the main goal of the charity event.
