Development of a visual style for a Carpathian cuisine restaurant. The main task was to convey the authenticity of the region through modern graphic forms, avoiding excessive decoration.
Design solutions:
Typography: Custom lettering with sharp angles refers to the silhouettes of Carpathian fir trees and mountain peaks. The letter "C," highlighted in an accent color and complemented by a graphic element on top, becomes the central visual anchor.
Sign: A minimalist emblem in the shape of a square combines the letter "M" and negative space that forms a mountain ridge. This makes the sign easily recognizable and convenient for use on small media (favicons, merchandise, stamps).
Color palette: A combination of deep black and rich mustard yellow (the shade of natural oil) creates high contrast and a sense of a premium yet cozy establishment.
