MASALA | INDIAN RESTAURANT | BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN
Masala is a new Indian restaurant where the rich traditions of India organically intertwine with modern culinary trends and emotional gastronomy.
In the logo, I wanted to convey the strength and kindness of India through a stylized elephant — a powerful cultural symbol. The elephant holds a small bowl on its head, as if inviting guests to the table, while the restaurant name is placed above the composition, creating a cohesive and expressive mark.
The stylized lotus became the main visual element in posters, menus, and creatives — a symbol of purity, blossoming, and the multifaceted nature of flavors. The lotus appears to unfold, revealing the aromas and emotions of Indian cuisine.
For the color palette, I chose vibrant red and warm yellow — the colors of turmeric and chili, which evoke associations with spices, energy, and appetite. As a result, I created a cohesive, warm, and highly distinctive identity that truly captures the spirit of India — bright, aromatic, hospitable, and unforgettable.
