When my baby was very small, I accidentally came across the Ukrainian lullabies of Olya Borodkina. It was a real find – gentle, warm, filled with coziness. My favorite became the lullaby about the little lambs and squirrels. We fell asleep to it night after night, and it seemed to me that it painted entire stories before my eyes.
I have long wanted to try making an animated fairy tale. And so this beloved lullaby became the basis for my animation. It turned out to be a story that is filled with special warmth and memories for me.
