A children's book author approached me with a request to create a cover for his book based on a description: "A huge but friendly, welcoming snowman stands in the garden above the family house that looks small from the perspective of the snowman, who wears an old top hat. The background is blue."
The drawing was supposed to be a nice children's illustration to best depict the story of a boy who misses his grandfather, whose hat the snowman is wearing. The cover had to be in two variations: one for the online store and one for the Instagram post.
I made a sketch, the customer approved it, and I finished the illustration. After that, I found the font that fitted best with the story title and created a handwritten font for the author's name.
