Initially, the task was to run RK for the site.After a detailed consultation with the site, the decision was made to refuse to conduct the RK and proposed the customer to conduct the testing/audit of important blocks of the site.The problem was a mass:
1 .Website structure and catalogue of goods.Duplicate the catalogue in the menu and blocks.2ndCategories of goods crossed each other.In the categories of male goods were female/child goods and vice versa.Difference in quantity of goods in category.This problem was caused by an incorrect approach when performing parsing from donor sites.ThreeThe site was broken under certain conditions.4 .Localization tags (Ukr/rus version of the site): text, menu, name of forms and categories, name of goods, etc.+ arbitrary transition to the Ukrainian version of the site with certain actions
and 5.A number of functional bugs: the block of the coat, the addition of goods, the work of the clickable elements, the product card, the display of the photo, etc.6 .Block of ordering was a separate problem...The number of steps in ordering; the incompatibility of information with the pages "Delivery" and "Payment"; the number of extra fields in the form of ordering...
All of this could be the cause of the “missed baskets”, the customer’s care at the ordering stage and, as a result, the loss of the site in terms of revenue/customer loyalty and in the principle of the meaning of the funds/time/efforts invested for the customer.In the report for the customer were described all the detected errors and recommendations on the project.A complete reconstruction of the site was proposed and a TZ was prepared for individual (important) blocks.PS: Sometimes the complete reconstruction of the site is more relevant in financial and temporary costs than improvements at a particular moment.Additional for the owners of the Internet stores: do not use the parser services where it is not necessary (a small amount of goods).In the same price you will cost the content manager services, only the quality is better and the execution's responsibility for the result.
