This project demonstrates that Google Sheets can be not only a tool for numbers but also a full-fledged platform for premium applications.
Task:
Create a personal operating system (Life OS) with a "Cyberpunk / Sci-Fi" style interface that completely hides the standard Excel/Sheets grid and provides the user with a native app experience.
Implementation:
I developed a Single Page Application (SPA) using Google Apps Script as the backend and HTML5/CSS3/Vanilla JS for the frontend.
Key technical features:
Interface: Implemented "Glassmorphism" (frosted glass effect) and neon glow effects without using heavy frameworks.
Zero Latency: Used the "Optimistic UI" pattern — the interface responds instantly, and synchronization with the database (Sheet) occurs in the background.
Dynamic themes: The system supports 5 color themes (OLED, Cyberpunk, Toxic, etc.) that switch without reloading the page through CSS variables.
Functionality: Habit tracker, financial accounting, task manager, and calendar.
Result:
A fully functional web application that runs for free on the client's Google Drive, requires no servers, and has no monthly fees.
