Background info

My client received a negative review on YouTube which appeared at the top of Google's search results when searching for the school's name and the word "review".My task was to either remove or push down the negative review from the top 5 search results.To this, I took the following steps:

Step 1

I created three positive YouTube videos featuring real clients of the school and optimized them for YouTube to rank higher than the negative review.As the school was new in the market and had very few reviews, this to increase positive exposure for the school.Within a week, one of my positive videos ranked higher than the negative review and within two weeks, we were able to push the negative review down from the top 5 search results.Step 2

I posted optimized and relevant articles on high-authority sites with a backlink to the client's website.Step 3

I created a Facebook group for the school.Step 4

I created a Google My Business page and linked it to the website and Facebook page.The end result was that the top 5 search results for the school's name and "review" were positive articles and videos.Additionally, by conducting this ORM (SERM) boost, I created good and trusted backlinks for the client's website, which to improve its search engine rankings.Overall, this strategy not only to push down the negative review but also increased positive exposure for the school and improved its online reputation.#SERM #ORM #Management_Return
